The Federal Government’s has paid N432 million to 10,800 beneficiaries of Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) programme in the last eight months.
Special Assistant to governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar on Social Investment Programmes ( SIPs) and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Mansur Manu Soro said this while delivering a welcome address at a four days National Cash Transfer Training on Savings and Group Mobilization holding in Bauchi.
He said that the Federal Government has paid the sum of N432million to 10,800 beneficiaries over eight months adding that the State has a projection of N1.31billion by the year 2019.
According to him, governor Abubakar has approved the enhancement of primary schools enrolment especially that of the girl child as state beneficiary’s co-responsibility.
While speaking, the National Coordinator of Cash Transfer programme, Temitope Sinkaiye commended governor Abubakar for his commitment leading to an extra -ordinary performance SIPs in the state.
